January 17th, 2007- Meeting with Girl Scouts of the North Country regarding Environmental
Fair in April.
January 29th, 2007- Miss America! I am hosting a Miss America viewing party. This is also
a rush event for Theta Alpha Lambda (my sorority).
February
February 18th through 23rd 2007- Latino Conference Week at SUNY Plattsburgh. (Sponsored by
El Pueblo) This year's theme is "Two Pasts, One Present: A Celebration of Latino Culture and Black History." Various events
throughout the week from food tasting to salsa workshops, and a play about inter-cultural dating.
February 24th, 2007- Super Saturdays. Working with gifted and talented school children in
the North Country, including classes on "Trashy Treasures" (Recycling and Reusing) and Endangered Species.
February 28th, 2007- Working with Girl Scout Troops 35 and 143 at OLVA School in Plattsburgh. Working
with the troops on their booths for the Environmental Fair in April.
March
March 6th, 2007- Environmental Fair planning meeting at Oak St. School.
Planning for the April event sponsored by the Girl Scouts of the North Country and the League of Women Voters.
March 9th through 11th, 2007 - Car Show in Syracuse, NY at State Fairgrounds.
