Conservation
Education:
I
am certified by the Department of Environmental Conservation in Project Aquatic Wild and Project Flying Wild. Both programs
include targeted activities for grades K-12. Interactive activities are used for lively and interesting presentations where
students learn how the environment affects their daily lives, how to protect the environment, and that we can all make a difference.
I will also share anecdotal knowledge of my own experiences with conservation in the Adirondacks and Everglades.
EARTH
(Enjoyment,
Awareness, Respect, Teaching, Helping):
Based on the same ideas as my Conservation Education program, this presentation
and its related activities are targeted for student groups with a focus on civic responsibility and service learning. Please
contact me about this program if you work with an organization such as the Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, 4H, etc.
Perseverance and Persistence:
I will share the story of my journey through the Miss America Organization.
This is a motivational story of perseverance through challenges over the course of 6 years. I hope that my journey inspires
others and leads them on their own paths to self discovery.
Pathways to College:
I
can use my professional experience as a College Admissions Advisor to speak to students about the importance of education
and pathways to college. I hope to motivate others to pursue higher education at any and all levels. I have worked with the
Foundation for Excellent Schools as a professional and regularly give Early College Awareness presentations to junior-high
and high-school aged groups.
All programs and presentations can be tailored to your group's needs. I am willing to travel throughout New
York State and Vermont.
